Imprecise random field analysis for non-linear concrete damage analysis

چکیده

Imprecise random fields consider both, aleatory and epistemic uncertainties. In this paper, spatially varying material parameters representing the constitutive of a damage model for concrete are defined as imprecise by assuming an interval valued correlation length. For each length value, corresponding field is discretized Karhunen-Loève expansion. first study, effect series truncation discussed well resulting variance error on probability box (p-box) that represents uncertainty in beam result field. It shown certain awareness influence order local needed when truncated according to fixed mean error. following case main investigation propagation context non-linear finite element problems, i.e. quasi-brittle four-point bended beam. The global quantities interest described p-box. several input p-boxes studied. Furthermore, it examined whether values located within interval, so-called intermediate values, affect p-box bounds. that, from engineering point view, pure vertex analysis intervals sufficient determine context.
